  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 chicken breasts, tender and juicy
  • 1 cup chicken broth, low-sodium
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until bubbly but not browned.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter along with minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth and scrape up any brown bits stuck to the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Lower the heat slightly and stir in ½ cup of heavy cream and ¼ cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  8. Allow the sauce to simmer gently for about 3-4 minutes.
