  5. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165°F internally.

  8. Chop fresh bell peppers, cucumbers, and carrots into bite-sized pieces.

Notes

Storage: Leftover Korean BBQ chicken bowls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Ensure the chicken and vegetables are cooled before sealing to maintain freshness.

Reheating: To reheat, warm the chicken and vegetables in a microwave-safe dish covered with a damp paper towel to retain moisture, or use a skillet over medium heat until heated through. Avoid overheating to prevent drying out.

Serving: Serve the chicken over a bed of warm, fluffy rice and top with fresh bell peppers, cucumbers, and carrots. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds for added texture and flavor.

Chef’s Tip: For an extra flavor boost, try adding a splash of rice vinegar or sesame oil to the rice while cooking. This elevates the dish and complements the Korean BBQ flavors beautifully.
